How do I stake $JUDE?

JUDE staking is performed through Judecoin Service Nodes.

Judecoin Service Nodes provide underlying support for the Judecoin network. They are powered by rewarded nodes to enable network functionality, scalability, and a decentralized technology stack.

To operate a Judecoin Service Node, operators lock up the required staking amount of 23,600 JUDE. The stake transaction is submitted to the network, and after the registration process is accepted, the Service Node becomes active and begins contributing to the network.

In return for their services, eligible Judecoin Service Node operators receive a portion of the block rewards according to the current consensus and reward distribution rules.

Service Node Staking

A Judecoin Service Node becomes active on the network when its owner stakes the required amount of JUDE and completes the Service Node registration process.

Stake required JUDE

To operate a Service Node, the operator locks up the required staking amount of 23,600 JUDE.

Complete registration

The stake transaction is submitted to the network together with the Service Node registration process.

Become active

Once accepted by the network, the Service Node becomes active and contributes to the Judecoin network.

Receive rewards

Eligible operators receive a portion of block rewards according to the current consensus and reward distribution rules.

A Judecoin Service Node becomes active on the network when its owner stakes the required amount of JUDE and completes the Service Node registration process.

Once accepted by the network, the Service Node becomes eligible to receive rewards.

Running a Judecoin Service Node is the perfect way to participate in the Judecoin privacy network while earning rewards and supporting its decentralized infrastructure.

Shared Service Nodes

Multiple participants can stake into a shared Service Node by combining smaller stake contributions to meet the 23,600 JUDE Service Node staking requirement.

Shared staking participation

Multiple participants can stake into a shared Service Node by combining smaller stake contributions to meet the 23,600 JUDE Service Node staking requirement.

Rewards are distributed to participants in proportion to each participant's stake contribution and according to the applicable network rules.

Designed for participation without running a full server.

Network support without server operation

Shared Service Nodes make it easy for users to participate in JUDE staking without running a full server themselves.

Users can contribute to the security and operation of the Judecoin network while receiving rewards based on their contribution.

Designed for users joining a shared Service Node.

Staking Options

Judecoin staking is designed to make participation as quick and simple as possible.

Join a shared Service Node

Users who do not want to manage their own server can participate through a shared Service Node.

Before submitting a staking transaction, users should follow the latest Service Node documentation and make sure the wallet, Service Node information, and staking details are correct.

Run a full Service Node

Users who want to operate their own infrastructure can run a full Judecoin Service Node.

This path requires a suitable server environment, the latest Service Node software, a synchronized daemon, wallet registration, regular status checks, and key backups.

Before You Stake

Before participating in staking, users should review the staking requirements, wallet version, Service Node registration information, and backup requirements.

Users should verify:

Required staking amount
Wallet version used for staking
Service Node registration status
Service Node public information provided by the operator, if joining a shared Service Node
Expected lock-up conditions
Reward distribution rules
Wallet key and Service Node key backup requirements
Recovery requirements before moving funds, changing wallets, or migrating server environments

After a stake is accepted by the network, rewards are distributed according to the network rules, Service Node eligibility, and the participant's stake contribution.

Running Your Own Judecoin Service Node

Users who want to operate their own Judecoin Service Node should prepare a suitable server environment, run the latest Judecoin Service Node software, keep the node online, and complete the Service Node registration process.

A typical Judecoin Service Node setup requires:

Service Node setup requirements

  • Supported Linux server environment
  • Sufficient storage, memory, network connectivity, and monthly traffic
  • Open and reachable Service Node ports
  • Latest Judecoin Service Node binaries
  • Fully synchronized Judecoin daemon
  • Judecoin wallet holding the required staking amount
  • Service Node registration from the wallet
  • Regular status checks
  • Wallet key and Service Node key backups

Documentation areas

Detailed staking, setup, restart, recovery, security, backup, and status documentation should be followed before running a Service Node or moving funds between wallet and server environments.

Rewards are distributed according to network rules, Service Node eligibility, and the participant's stake contribution.
